Adhering to the Vaishnava tradition, various festivals on prescribed days are held. On the 11th day of the bright fortnight of Bhadrapad month i.e. August-September, a big fair is held here named Jhaljhoolani Ekadashi Mela. Thousands of pilgrims participate in this festival every year. Pilgrims take part in a big procession and the villagers welcome them with perfume and flowers. The grand procession carries the Lord to a nearby lake for religious bath. After that a special pooja is performed.
The festivals of colours, Holi is also celebrated here on a big scale. It is celebrated for fifteen days. Other festivals are Navratras, Janamashtami, Annakut and Ramanavami. During the Navaratri, Gharava dance and other cultural functions are held with zeal.
